High-bandwidth 220 ghz experimental radar
Web11 de set. de 2024 · As a proof of concept, a five-tone radar prototype that seamlessly scans the entire 220-to-320-GHz band is demonstrated. In the measurement, the multi-channel-aggregated equivalent-isotropically radiated power (EIRP) is 0.6 dBm and is further boosted to ~20 dBm with a TPX (polymethylpentene) lens. Web3 de jun. de 2014 · The high-frequency component up converts the Ku-frequency band (18GHz) to THz (220GHz) wave, and 0.22 THz wave is coupled to the antenna for transmission through the waveguide. The beam width of the antenna is 14°.
