WebGraeme Milbourne Clark AC (born 16 August 1935) [1] is an Australian Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Melbourne. [2] His work in ENT surgery, electronics and speech science contributed towards the development of the multiple-channel cochlear implant. [3] [4] [5] His invention was later produced and sold by Cochlear Limited. WebHe holds the Cornelius J. Pings Chair in Biomedical Sciences. He was named Professor of Ophthalmology, Biomedical Engineering, Cell and Neurobiology in 2001. He served as Interim Chair, Department of Ophthalmology, in 2013. He was named Inaugural Director of the USC Eye Institute in 2013.
